NEW YORKER TRANSLATION: Corner of Broadway and Suydam
PLUG SITUATION: There are plugs along the back wall and on the floor next to the middle booth in the front.
SEATING: There are four two person tables and two four person tables plus some bar stool style seating.
WIFI: Fast. I am able to download, upload and write comfortably.
BATHROOM SITUATION: There’s one in the back. It’s single person use. There is also an excessive amount of cat picture wall paper.
NOISE LEVEL: It’s not bad. There is a comfortable amount of background noise but the acoustics here do facilitate an echo.
LIGHTING: The lighting is not super fluorescent but not exactly super warm either. There are big floor to ceiling windows that bring in natural light although they are completely tagged up. The windows face Broadway under the elevated J train tracks.
FOOD: This is a vegan bakery so be prepared for some of the tastiest vegan food you’ve ever had in your life. From a coffee cake to cookies if you’re looking to satisfy your sweet tooth there are ample options. I came here around lunch time. I got the Bis’cats and Gravy. It was incredible.
OVERALL: This is a solid option in south bushwick, northern bed stuy and is close to the J/M/Z Myrtle Broadway station if you are coming from somewhere else.
